About RSF
All-Russian Public Organization
The Russian Surfing Federation (RSF) was founded in 2008 and operates as an all-Russian public organization dedicated to the development and promotion of surfing in the Russian Federation.

The Federation brings together initiatives aimed at supporting surfing as a sport, increasing the role of physical culture and sport in society, and strengthening the position and prestige of Russian sport.

The RSF works across the Russian Federation through regional divisions and supports the development of surfing through competitions, organizational work, and media presence.
Olympic discipline
Shortboard
Surfing was added to the Olympic programme in 2016 and made its Olympic debut at Tokyo 2020 in the shortboard discipline.
Longboard
Classic surfing tradition — judged on style, flow, and footwork across the board.
WAKESURFING / WAKESKIM
Wakesurfing and wakeskim are practiced on an artificial wave created by a boat, combining surfing technique, balance, control, and wake sport energy.
SUP
SUP is a versatile paddleboarding discipline that includes racing, technical courses, wave riding, and long-distance formats.
